Who we are

Haven Mental Wellness is a Connecticut-based psychotherapy practice offering individual, couples, and family therapy. Our work is rooted in the belief that healing begins with insight into the systems that have shaped us.
Whether those systems include the family you were born into, the one that raised you, or the communities and cultures you’ve been part of, these early environments often leave imprints on how we connect, cope, communicate, and care for ourselves and others. Many of the patterns we carry from relationship dynamics to emotional responses, were once adaptive but may now be holding us back from the growth and connection we desire.

We believe therapy is a collaborative process not a one-size-fits-all solution.
That’s why our approach is both person-centered and solution-focused, honoring your lived experience while also helping you move forward with practical tools and insights. We integrate evidence-based practices with a systemic lens, recognizing the complex interplay of family roles, generational patterns, culture, identity, and environment. Our goal is not only to help you understand why you feel stuck, but to equip you with strategies to shift those patterns and foster deeper self-awareness, emotional regulation, and more fulfilling relationships.
